Holiday Closures for Independence Day

The law library will be closed on Friday July 3 and Saturday July 4 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen Sunday July 5 at Noon.

Alumni Study Room is now OPEN

The Alumni Study Room in the basement of the library is now open for your use. Please be aware that journal reshelving is continuing in the other half of the basement and conditions may not be as silent as usual. Thank you for your patience.

Library Noise

As you may be aware, the law school is transitioning to a VoIP phone system. Because of this, there have been workers drilling for the new wiring all over the building. Today, they have reached the library. Please be aware that the reading room will be very noisy with construction sounds.

Lower Level of Law Library Closed

We are about to begin a project to install additional compact shelving in the Law Library Basement. Before that installation can begin we have to go through some asbestos abatement. For that reason, the lower level of the library will be closed beginning Thursday, December 18 through mid-January. During this time there will be no access to the lower level and all volumes will have been removed from that area. The area will be sealed.

Finals are just around the corner...

A few important reminders as we approach finals...

1. Laptops will be unavailable for checkout beginning Monday, December 5.
2. Please restrict all conversations and cell phone calls to the Lobby. During finals it is important that all floors of the library be a quiet place to study.
3. The Lower Level of the library will be closed December 18 - 23 as we make some necessary renovations. We apologize in advance for this disturbance.

Election Day Hours

In observance of Election Day, the Law Library will be open 8am - 5pm on Tuesday, November 4. We will resume regular hours on Wednesday, November 5.
